RapidApi

Easily connect to RapidAPI blocks from your Elixir application.

Installation

1. Add rapid_api to your list of dependencies in mix.exs:

```elixir
def deps do
  [{:rapid_api, "~> 0.1.0"}]
end
```

1. Ensure rapid_api is started before your application:

```elixir
def application do
  [applications: [:rapid_api]]
end
```

1. Add your configuration to your config/config.exs

    config :rapid_api,
      base_url: "https://rapidapi.io/connect", # optional - defaults to this URL
      token: "your-rapid-api-token",
      project: "your-rapid-api-project"

Usage

Connecting to RapidAPI is very simple. The following code makes a call to the getPictureOfTheDay function of the NasaAPI package, passing it the date parameter:

RapidAPI.call("NasaAPI", "getPictureOfTheDay", %{date: "1997-07-01"})

This will return a Map of the API response.

Curently only synchronous calls are supported, but asynchronus calls will soon be implemented.
